TEACHING EVERYONE TO SWIM
Under the direction of master swim instructor Mavis Bentley, each session is 2 weeks and includes 8 lessons that last 45 minutes each. Pre-School Lessons (Age 3-5 years) AND Youth Lessons (Age 6 & up)
Monday-Thursday 9:00, 9:45,10:30am, 4:30 & 5:15pm
Summer Session 1: June 7-15 (6 lessons, prorated)
Summer Session 2: June 19-29
Summer Session 3: July 10-20
Summer Session 4: July 24-August 3
Summer Session 5: August 7-17
Saturday Session: 8 Weeks June 17, 24, July 8, 15, 22, 29, Aug 5, 12 @9:30-10:15 a.m.
Safety & Confidence in the Water, Starts Here!
For more than a century, the YMCA has been the nation's leading expert in swimming and water safety. Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. The YMCA's Swimming programs encourage people of all ages to use the buoyant qualities of water to enhance their physical fitness through exercise.
It is truly an ideal form of exercise for all ages and increases physical strength and endurance without putting stress and strain on joints. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike - young & old - can take part in this type of exercise to improve health, fitness and overall well-being.
Private swimming lessons are for those who want extra attention or who have difficult schedules. Semi-private lessons are designed to serve those families who have two siblings/friends who wish to learn to swim together.
