Through videos, group discussion and hands-on-practice, you will learn teamwork, rescue, surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED, and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard.  Successful completion results in a 2-year certification in Lifeguarding that also includes First Aid and professional-level CPR and AED in one certificate.  FREE online skills refreshers to review at any time.  FREE digital course materials available after completion.

Cost: $100 with Membership, $150 Non-Member

CPR only, Sat. 9 am-12 pm, $50 Members, $75 Non-Member

Student Cost:  $100 with student ID

Prerequisites:

• Must be at least 15 years old

Must pass certain swimming requirements which include:

• Swim 300 meters with freestyle or breast stroke

• Jump in and swim 25 yards, then perform a feet first surface dive and retrieve a 10 lb. brick from bottom, and then swim 25 yards and exit shallow end without using ladder

• Tread water for 3 minutes
